This is a must visit in Montgomery! We were seated immediately and the service was outstanding! They have a good selection of beers on tap. We had the pimento cheese, wedge salad, and Spanish octopus. The pimento cheese was incredible, especially with the crackers. The house salad dressing, I’d just like to bottle that and take some home! The Spanish octopus was cooked to perfection! Not even close to overcook d and absolutely delicious. I attended a party in one of the private rooms. We had our own bar in the room and a sit down plated dinner. I've had many banquet dinners, but none as good as this one. The staff was competent and friendly and the event was well-managed. The room had a private patio/ balcony and it was great. It was a family-friendly party and the kids were able to play without bothering restaurant patrons. Everyone from 1-yr-olds to grandparents had an enjoyable time. I have been here dozens of times. The food is constantly good and always updated. Last night was the crab fried rice and my friend had the chicken and dumplings. The food there is good, usually with a different kick or variant spice application. I loved the ambiance. It gives the vibe of an upscale restaurant without taking itself too seriously. The staff were very helpful, attentive, and respectful. While parking might be tricky in downtown Montgomery, it was worth it to dine in at central restaurant. Shania was an awesome waitress! All the food was excellent and the employees were so helpful and friendly. The manager even checked on us and was very attentive. One of our absolute favorites!! The rotating menu is perfection so I have only eaten the same thing once in the 20 or so times I have dined here. And Chef Jason is so talented in his creations and executions. Everything is always so balanced. Please save room for dessert as Chef Marie’s creations are magazine worthy, truly!!
