Thought about eating breakfast here as it’s right next to the hotel and has great reviews. Ended up not going because I woke up to some yahoo in the parking lot of this joint cleaning up trash with his little bucket and little broom at 6AM on a Sunday. Maybe save that noise for after you close rather than before you open when the tourists that keep the lights on in this town might want to sleep in peacefully on a Sunday morning….? Service: 1

Me and my wife stayed at the nearby morrow bay inn and wanted a traditional country breakfast. Carla's did not disappoint. Food was good, fast and well priced. We stayed and purchased a few things from the gift shop. We met the owner who was super nice, and I could tell genuinely loved what she did. You can allways tell a place is good if the locals go. And watching for a few minutes its clear they all come here and the staff all know them and genuinely care about people. I will definitely come back many times in the future. This was such a nice place, you get seated immediately and the waitresses are so attentive and bring you drinks and whatever you need the second you need it 😁 I had the B. L. T and french fries and then the next morning I had the sausage and cheese omelette. I would highly recommend both they are absolutely delightful 😋 Will come back next time I'm in Morro Bay for sure! I have breakfast here often due to the combination of good food and friendly service. The fact that the prices here are among the most reasonable in all of Morro Bay is also a big draw. I also enjoy the on-site parking. This restaurant has a combination of a good crew and good food. Note that my experience is limited to breakfast only. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped by to do guys brunch with my kiddo. All the food here is amazing. The oatmeal was a decent texture for my kiddo. I tried a bit of everything, and it was all top-notch. The staff here seeing a pre toddler treated him so well and was good with him. I thought the biscuits would be interesting. The gravy seemed a bit thinner. It wasn't lacking flavor and was really good. With the texture of the biscuits being flaky it allowed for a unique absorption that allowed for crunch and gooey biscuit goodness. It's definitely worth a try. I also like one thing here in particular. They don't over season their food. Most breakfast places go way to heavy on the salt.... Hailey and Carla have made an amazing business here, and it truly is a great staple for Morro Bay.
