The fish was cooked beautifully, but dinner for three cost $280 before tips. We had one appetizer, 3 meals (2 sea bass and 1 salmon) plus 3 cocktails, two add-on potatoes (didn't even discount them, they supposedly replaced the rice that came with the meal) plus one dessert. Very pricey! However, the meals had large portions, and we took half of each meal home for an additional serving later.
The atmosphere is pretty loud due to it being a low ceiling with wood paneling. My husband clocked it at around 80 decibels. For older folks who are beginning to lose hearing, this made it difficult to hear our tablemates and the servers.
Service was excellent. It was a team affair, five or six different people helped us at the table. They all seemed very friendly and attentive.
For a special occasion, it's a very nice place to dine, but be prepared for the prices.

We've had this on our list for a long time and it did not disappoint. Old school atmosphere with incredibly friendly and attentive service. Super genuine.
Food was delicious & abundant.
King Crab legs & prime rib combo will not disappoint. Enough for 2 and includes large dinner salad for 2.

This was my third time at Captain Jack's, and I have ZERO complaints! The staff is very friendly and they treat you very well! Please be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, I repeat, make a reservation! I don't think I ever went without a reservation, but I understand the wait time could be up to 2 hours without one. The food is amazing, a must have is the prime rib - lots of leftovers! Bring your appetite!!

An absolute GEM individually owned eatery in gorgeous SUNSET BEACH. seafood seafood seafood and prime rib. This place could be easily passed up because of the unassuming exterior. Don't miss this 1 of a kind place . I recommend the seafood pasta
