I biked from Rodgers Park just to get my favorite sandwich, the Balboa. I love this place and the owner is super friendly. Service is fast and the taste is some of the best in the city. I always pick up a bottle of their secret sauce when I am here too it goes great on everything. After 55 years coming back to Chicago, I was sad to find that Rogers Park and the Ashland locations were closed but found that Winnetka was open. What a joy we had and the taste hasn’t changed in 55 years. The food was still fresh. Delicious. I was looking for Stephan, but he was nowhere to be found. Mrs. Nemo, you got the goods mam.
