I was a bit hesitant with the hype and reviews but their bagels are actually good. And their cream cheese was different in a good way. we also had mocha and it just felt a bit too dark and roasted, more coffee over chocolate. Overall a good experience. :) If you’re looking to eat it there, they do have outdoor sitting but area isn’t that great with homeless. Would recommend take out from this location. Love the outdoor dining space, it is very busy on weekends so I highly highly recommend ordering online before you get there unless you want to wait for 30+ minutes. On weekdays it’s pretty easy to order at the counter. This is a highly frequented spot for me and my friends because of the variety and the delicious bagels. They rotate out some of the bagel selection seasonally and I sorely miss their sriracha bagel but they are always reliably delicious! My favorite thing about this location is the cute outdoor seating area (shaded and perfect for a nice day) and the walk-up window, so i was able to grab and go while walking my dog. Service was very quick and the staff was friendly. Call Your Mother has a few vegetarian options (my favorite is Mountain View with latke inside) as well as a gluten free bagel option (yuca for +$2.50). You can try all their unique bagels such as zaatar and cream cheese such as apple pie and cheez-it. I dont think they have indoor seating. Service Take out

Really good bagels! I ordered a bagel sandwich (the bacon sun city) which I loved - especially with the spicy honey. I also got a cold brew, and a dozen bagels with cream cheese pint. Overall it was quite pricey for dozen bagels - but everything was truly delicious. I’d definitely come back here, no questions.

Nice little sandwich joint. I had the pastrami, eggs, and cheese on a bagel. Along with the tuna melt. Both were pretty good. However as far as I can tell, there’s no inside dining. So I’d recommend preordering on their website so you don’t have to stand around and wait outside like a mamaluke. I’d go back.

The food was great! Some of the most authentic New York style bagels! The online ordering system is easy, but overall it is very expensive to customize your order, and that was a deterrent, especially when you want less on your bagel sandwich. The bakery items were also delicious! Coffee was decent, the Espresso bar had a good amoubt of options but small sizes only.

I was lured in by the line of enthusiastic patrons and the amusing branding, but sadly felt it was just ok. In all fairness, I have to admit that I probably would have been pretty happy with my breakfast if it cost $5 and came from a food truck or bodega. I was hoping for something a little...more from CYM. It's possible I might share some of the blame for choosing the relatively straightforward Bacon Sun City over a more adventurous pick.

Simply a take-out window with adjoining outdoor patio. Bagels and bagel sandwiches are great. Coffee is good too. A bit confusing on the ordering process and menu but guaranteed to find something you like. Try ordering online for pickup! Love love love this place! 🙌 You can never go wrong with a good bagel 🥯 and they deliver on that promise here! These are definitely my favorite bagels in DC. They have a good COVID system here too with it being window service and all. On the weekend, I’d recommend ordering beforehand online and then picking it up — the line can get pretty long on the weekends.
