Celebrating a milestone occasion out of town can be challenging, yet being referred to Yamir Perez of Cake & Cakes in the Palm Springs area was the best and 'sweetest' thing that made our celebration complete! Simply check out the Cake & Cakes website to see the myriad of cakes and desserts that are amazingly creative. Every cake pictured looks more beautiful than the next. We ordered the Divide and Crumble which had an ethereal vanilla bean mousse and a delicious strawberry jam filling. It was decorated with cookie crumble and lemon flowers from Yamir's home garden. Yamir is a Master Baker. His artistry in the kitchen is genius. I have used Yamir numerous times and he never disappoints. His confections not only look good they taste delicious. Yamir is so creative. He is a pleasure to work with and listens to you. Treat yourself and your guests your next event. You won’t be sorry. I have to go now to place my order for Valentine’s Day……. Cake & Cakes does the most beautiful and delicious desserts! A friend of mine shared a birthday cake he got and knew I had to order something for my family for the holidays. I have been ordering Thanksgiving Day treats for my family in Palm Springs the last two years. We had the cranberry cake last year and this year we got the pumpkin pie with the cookie leaves. It was a huge hit! We ate the pie and the family picked at the cookies on the counter for the next couple of days. The pie was more of a tart style but I thought it was MUCH better ratio of crust to filling than a traditional pumpkin pie and the cookies were light and buttery. Cakes & Cakes is the best bakery that I have found in the Palm Springs area. I have used Yamir three times in the last year for two birthdays and a large party. The cakes are not only incredible organic architectural masterpieces, they are so delectable. The flavors are punchy and often unique. Each time I have presented these stunning desserts to friends and family, they glamour with amazement over the beauty and then relish the flavors. The communication and delivery has been perfect for every one of my orders. Do not hesitate on your first order because they are well worth the money and your supporting a great local business.
