I met a friend for breakfast. It was good, however the eggs had onions in them and that was not disclosed on the menu (and I am not a fan). The bacon and the grits were good. One of our favorite lunch venues in Metairie near New Orleans. The mango dressing is addictive. The avocado and chicken salad is to die for and absolutely delicious. The service and the people that work here are kind, courteous, and welcoming. To say that we love this place is an understatement. When we come to the New Orleans area, this is number 1 on our lunch itinerary. The coffees and deserts are yummy. I haven’t been to Caffe Caffe for about 20 years when they had a Mandeville location. They still have the same good and fast service, quality food and delicious desserts. However there doesn’t seem to be as many dessert choices now. Same great flavored iced tea. Will be back now that I’ve rediscovered it!

Jan 3, 2021: I got the soup of the day, vegetable beef over pasta. Barely any pasta, barely any beef. It really should be called vegetable broth with veggies. At the beginning of the summer, I used to love this place. There has definitely been some kind of change in the kitchen or with the prep staff. As best as I can describe, it's just sloppy. The food doesn't taste how it should. My Greek roll may have had 1 cherry tomato, definitely, no onions, 1 or 2 olives. Coincidence
