I had lunch, and the spicy fried chicken and tteokbokki were exceptionally delicious. I would like to try their bibimbap next time; it's a big portion from what I see. I am happy they have an authentic Korean restaurant in Lawrence.

Cafe The Mani is amazing! The staff is lovely the owners are sweet and the food is great. Their friend chicken is 100000000 times better than your fast food chains. Tried their korean beef bbq as well and it was amazing. Never before have I ever eaten the fat off the meat but it was so gooooodddd. This restaurant is my new favorite place to dine.

Original Fried Chicken Combo
Literally transcendent. The jjajangmyeon is fire, the spicy pork lunch box slays (I recommend getting it extra spicy), and the sides complement everything perfectly. It’s not pricey either. The only thing I’m mad about is that it opened right before I graduate 😔❤️.

They had no water to offer. Not for sale, or for free. I had the Kimchi Bokem-Bap. There was no kimchi and no egg. I had to pay extra for the egg in their Kimchi fried rice. Terrible.

I’m not the type to normally leave reviews, but this is my favorites restaurant in Lawrence. I order here ant least once a week. Everything is always so delicious and Im always excited to try something new on the menu.
The chicken is always crispy and juicy and so flavorful! The tteokbokki is always so well cooked with great flavor. The japchae and kimbap are so fresh.
A few critiques; The prices are a bit high for the portion sizes. Additionally, when ordering delivery, doordash offers no way to modify dishes, so if you want a dish made without a particular item, you cannot specify on the app (I don’t know if this is something the restaurant can change, or if it’s an issue with doordash itself). This is usually fixed with a call to the restaurant telling them you just placed an order and want to make a request, though there have been times where I’ve called multiple times for nobody to answer, and having no way to modify the order.
Overall, I love Cafe the Mani and cannot recommend it enough.

We left without ordering after standing at the counter for a full five minutes being studiously ignored by the person behind the counter. She was standing three feet from us and did not look at us or acknowledge our presence in any way as she attended to other tasks. Too bad, I like to support local places and these guys are just down the street which would be handy. I wish them the best of luck in their endeavor.

Stopped in just to grab something hot to drink. Immaculately clean, courteous and friendly service, and the hot Yuja Tea was excellent!
