The owner of this cafe appears to not like either foreigners in general or Germans in particular. He seemed friendly at first, talking to us in Norwegian and we responded in Norwegian that we are not yet well speakers, asking if he speaks a little english or german. His face turned really annoyed and unfriendly all of a sudden and he would not speak to us any further at all. We were in hope for a nice afternoon at a cosy little cafe with friends who also live here. But for sure, after this welcome, none of us will consider coming back.

Absolutely adorable cafe and mineral shop. Very reasonable prices for food and minerals. Very sweet old gentleman running the shop.

I might be biased since I’ve been coming here since I was a wee lad, but this place is old school cozy and has good food. Also if you’re interested i geology or collecting rocks this is the place for you.
