Great food, and very clean. But, as a guest on this particular day, I felt very disrespected. The cashier got the order wrong for the customer before us and was upset because they proved her wrong. So instead of putting that order out since she had been handling it without gloves on. She waited and tried to put it on our plate instead of using the one that was just cooked for us. I informed her that I didn't want it and she got mad again, and instead of putting it on our tray, she instead gave it to the drive-through. After sitting there eating for 30 minutes or so, all we could hear was her complaining about the situation over and over again. Like I said, nothing to do with the establishment, only to do with her customer service. New Orleans is home, but currently living in Texas. Whenever we drive in for family events, we ALWAYS make it to Cafe Du Monde before driving back. Great coffee and beignets - - same as when I was a child almost 70 years ago. The beignets are great here. We appreciate the quick service and air conditioning, so we often visit this location when in New Orleans. However, you can’t beat the atmosphere of the location on Decatur with the crowds and the heat and the powdered sugar everywhere. But - they could at least try for a little atmosphere here. Some music would be a huge start. It’s so quiet in there so it makes it awkward. And the service is pretty terrible. Zero personality and zero interest. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Must stop in Nola! An order of beignets and chicory coffee makes your day special. Love this place. The Williams location is the spot to go if you are going to or coming from the airport. This is either my last stop or first stop in Nola. This location is only missing the people watching and atmosphere of the original location on the Mississippi River, downtown. I am actually a Morning Call fan. But I have to say this was great. Had an order of beignets and a large chocolate milk. The restaurant was very clean and did not have too much of a reaction with the staff to review them. Excellent, 99 % sure it's the same taste as downtown New Orleans. Coffee is great. Has a drive through. Plenty of seating. Freshly made in three minutes. Great location, eight minutes from the airport. Told the young lady we are flying, she boxed the sugar topping separately from the beignet. Wanted to surprise our daughter.
