Nice shop with friendly staff. This place allows you to do free samples to select from the different flavors, and they're pretty generous with the size of their free samples too. I would say when you do buy cookies you don't get many for the price you pay, but the cookies are quite good. It's a nice treat every once in a while. Got the 3 piece gf cocoa mint and by the time I finished the 3rd I was running back to get another bag! So delicious definitely reminds me of girl scout cookies. So good!
I’m not sure I’ve had a more nasty Cookie than this. It was horrible. I cannot believe I paid for that.

We came driven from San Francisco to San Luis Obispo, and a few miles before Cayucos we saw this billboard on the road about the Brown Butter Cookie Company; and right beside our parking spot in SLO there it was, soooooo I said to my self: I have to try those! Me and my kids were happy to enter this place, the staff is super friendly and ready to answer any question and of course there were free samples 🤤! I like a lot the almond flavor but my kids insisted in get the cocoa ones! The cookies are good, taste like a mix of Mazapán and Polvores from México! The experience was good, hope go back to SLO or Cayucos so I can get more bags and try all the flavors!!
I love these cookies so much but this store was smaller than the one in Paso and didn't seem to have as much product. The two girls working looked bored not even a greeting when we came in and and we were the only ones in the store.
Walked past this place on a brief stop in town. The service was delightful and the cookies, delicious. My friend and I tried all the flavors in a little “cookie tasting”. The original and the almond were my favorite. Expect handmade shortbread cookies with one or two gluten-free options. Cute packaging. Perfect host/hostess gift. Highly recommend this sweet little stop!

Free samples help you make your mind up. Price is okay for small cookies, and the cookies are good for what they are. They also had a gluten friendly option which is nice for those with intolerances
