Old time pizzeria feel. Service was good and you can pay at the table. Pizza was just ok. I did like how it was cut into smaller, squared pieces. Appetizer sampler was nothing special but we were starving and it came out quick and had a decent variety of offerings (wings, cheese bread and mozz sticks) Homemade root beer was a hit! We decided to stop here randomly one day while looking for a new-to-us spot to try for lunch. Even though it was lunch time on a weekday, it was not busy inside, which was nice. We sat ourselves and our server dropped off menus. While browsing the menu, we noticed the interesting train decor throughout the restaurant. There was even a model train moving around a track above the dining area. It was pretty cool to us as, we're 'train people'. Looking over the menu, we were thrilled what appeared to be a decent amount of vegetarian options. [All of us dining are vegetarians.] After deciding on our individual meals, we chose the mozzarella stick appetizer to share. The mozzarella sticks came out fairly quickly and at first taste...were really good. They are served with what the menu refers to as: 'original Broadway sauce'. This sauce is also the main sauce used for pizzas and pastas [unless you request one of the secondary options listed], according to the menu. There is no description provided for this sauce leading one to assume it is a traditional red/pizza sauce. [That means without meat.] Much to our chagrin, as we were eating the mozzarella sticks, we noticed that the red sauce tasted...off...spicy? We looked closer at the sauce and noticed bits of meat in it. We asked our server if we were confused or if this was not a meat-free sauce? She confirmed that there is sausage in the 'original Broadway sauce'. Prior to this, I had never seen mozzarella sticks served with a meat-based sauce, especially with that vital information missing from the menu. The same goes double for the pizza sauce. It is usual to have meat in house pizza sauce?! I cannot recall seeing that before? Anyways, we brought this concern to our server and she was VERY kind and apologetic. She also agreed that it should be clarified as it is a 'main ingredient' of the sauce. She immediately offered to take off the appetizer, which was appreciated but, not necessary as we did enjoy the the mozzarella sticks themselves and told her that. She was most hospitable for the gesture though and that---plus the taste of our other food---is why this is a three star review...versus a two star one. I understand this may seem 'petty' to some but, for folks who are meat-free, it actually impacts their experience quite a bit. I just wanted to share this information as it could easily cause issues for others too. Our individual meals were very good and the portion sizes were large, making them quite fair for the price. My hoagie was stuffed with toppings and it came with a bunch of chips and a pickle spear besides. If I were to return, I'd be very cautious to ask additional questions about menu items I planned to order. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Upon walking in the atmosphere reminded me of home. Very warm and cozy. The train running around the top was very cool to see. The pizza is thin crust and was spectacular. Service was very fast and friendly. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Baked Lasagna
Amazing pizza! If you like thin crust, Broadway is THE BEST! The cheese bread and skillet cookie are also amazing! Service is always great-fast and friendly! Atmosphere is dated (need new booths!) but that’s also part of the charm! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Square cut, thin crust that is not crunchy! A solid pizza! Pepperoni and Italian sausage. The sausage was great tasting and had big chunks. Also ordered the lasagna, which was really good. This was a dense lasagna with meat, sauce, noodle, and mozzarella cheese. I prefer a ricotta, airy, lasgna, but this one was still really good! It came with two really crusty pieces of bread, but was edible. They had a rootbeer that they call the "1919" which i wanted to try. They onlh sell it in half gallon portions and will run you over $10s. I did see it was on tap, so im not exactly sure why you couldn't buy a glass of it. Would definitely come back. Broadway Pizza is one of my favorite restaurants. This location has a nice atmosphere and the food is top notch. We ordered a thin crust pizza with pepperoni and pineapple along with an order of cheese bread. They were both incredible, but something about Broadway Pizza’s thin crust is downright magical. It’s seriously some of the best pizza I have ever had. The world needs more Broadways and it’s a shame the original (along with many others) have disappeared throughout the years. Luckily, this location carries on the tradition of delicious pizzas and choochoo trains. Pro tip: take one of the tiny, crispy corner pieces and put it on top of one of the bigger squares from the middle. Then, fold the bigger slice around the smaller slice and take a big bite of gooey yet crispy flavor. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

My friend L and I visited on a Thursday evening, about 5:30ish, it was a little busy but were seated right away. Nice, "mom n pop" feel to the establishment. Our waitress brought us our water and took our order promptly. We ordered the appetizer sampler and a medium Broadway Classic, if I recall correctly. Plenty of food for the two of us. The cheesy toasts (sorry, not sure what they're actually called on menu) were good 8/10. The wings were tender, saucy 8/10 (the flavor was a bit overwhelming). Mozzarella sticks were just okay 6/10, crust was a bit stale. The pizza 9/10, thin crust, delicious. *clean restrooms 😃. Would try again. 😁 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Loved the pizza! Got a large half Hawaiian sizzler, half meat = crowd pleaser. And to think I used to believe pineapple had no place on a pizza! Thanks for helping change my perception Broadway! Staff was great, there was even a wing mix-up, but they credited me for next time.
