I was hoping to have a delicious take out dinner from this place but we ordered the steak with chimichurri sauce and it was pretty plain no flavor or either salt and pepper....I also ordered a side of rice and chicken arepas but they both were not flavory at all and pretty pricey so disappointed Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 3

Brasitas is a small restaurant with a good ambiance. The service was great but not as quick as we would have liked it. There were 11 in my group on a Friday night, and it seemed like they may have been short staffed or didn't expect so many people at that time. They served us plantain chops with a picadillo that was fantastic. I ordered a steak which had great flavor but it came out cold and mine was not the only one. My husband had the paella, and it was piping hot. I never send food back unless it's absolutely necessary. I ate very little of it and took most of it home. I may go back, but with fewer people so my food is served hot. 😋 all and all, it's a lovely place. Delicious food and great vibe. Excellent presentation of food. We stopped by to have lunch on our way. The host is really nice and welcoming and their complementary chips are really good. They are not the typical nachos. We enjoyed the food alot. You may have limited options if you are vegetarian though. I noticed one or two items. Surprised by the quality and quantity for takeout. The plantain chips were over size to feed a family of four as a starter, and the chicken Sofrito with Crema on sweet corn cakes was terrific. Very good value and highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had the Lomo Saldada, it was over cooked and difficult to cut but the sauce was good.
