After seeing Kollen Park & Heinz Waterfront Walkway, it may be a good idea to visit this pizzeria. A number of reviewers note that you can order perfectly cooked BBQ ribs, fried salmon and grilled chicken here. Serving good key lime pie, sundaes and cheesecakes is the unique characteristic of Boatwerks. Delicious draft beer, michelada or craft beer are worth trying here. Beautiful well appointed restaurant with great timely and helpful staff. I didn't particularly love the French Dip sandwich or the sweet potato fries (too thin and overcooked), but there were a lot of different entrees between the members of my group which I was lucky to sample and I think if you order anything besides the French Dip sandwich you'll have a wonderful meal. The Soup of the day which was a butternut squash base was amazing. They also seem to have great periodic specials that are quite affordable and great value. I am most definitely coming back. I went there on Saturday, February 3, to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at about 5:00pm. At first, I was a little sad that they told us the wait was about 60 minutes, then 5-10 minutes passed, they suddenly seated all 7 of us. So happy about that! My favorite appetizer to get there is the Candied Bacon Brussels Sprouts; it was so delicious! We had an awesome waitress, Aliyah (sorry if I misspelled your name). She was very kind and sweet young lady… and very patient. I also ordered their Signature Burger and it was amazingly delicious! The bacon with the sweet glazed onions was great! I would definitely order that again. I just found out that they give you a 50% off your meal if it’s your birthday! Since my daughter ordered N.Y. Strip Steak, they gave my burger meal 50% off (can’t do 50% off steaks). You can be seated outside. I believe there’s a fireplace and heated seats outside, but double check with them first. I would definitely go there again. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. Great place to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. Though the atmosphere feels a bit dated here and there, everything else about my visit was absolutely top notch! I was there with two others while in the area on business in early December, so the vibrant summer crowd out by the lake was nowhere to be seen. As I usually do, I asked the waiter to help guide my decisions and I am very happy I did. The pork ribeye was amazing! There's a lot going on with this dish, but the result is not quite like any other dish I have had. So tender, moist and flavorful. I would otherwise have gone straight for the Walleye, and I'm sure I would have been perfectly happy... now I will choose the pork every time! Fatty & flavorless This was one of the worst restaurants we have been to in our travels. The steak was 50% fat, the burgers were pink when we asked for well done, and we waited almost an hour for food. Then the food came out in 10 minute increments. We were a group of 7.. and everyone's bill had a gratuity added. She was nice.but didn't deserve a $35.00 tip per bill. Drinks were ordered and never brought, the perch was flavorless.. I expect more when I'm paying $30.00 a plate. I'm super disappointed with redwater, their food, and the service at this establishment. We did tell the manager, nothing was taken off the bill, & she just asked if she could take my plate to show the kitchen how much fat was on the steak... 🙄 4 months later and I still haven't received a response from the restaurant as all those with a positive review have.
