The food is what you can expect from a little diner with no access to good ingredients I guess - greasy fries, shoe sole dead dry fried chicken and flavorless sandwiches. At the checkout I found a hidden fee for an item that had extra charge. The cashier said it says so on the menu, but she couldn’t point to where exactly so later they just added a line on a little whiteboard. On a whim…whatever. What really surprised me the most is that a place that has the audacity to have “espresso” in its name does not serve espresso. They serve 30ml of brown liquid with absolutely no crema on it and call it a double shot…really embarrassing. A hotel room capsule machine makes better espresso. Bathrooms are dirty with no toilet paper or hand paper towels. The sink was dirty with snot and what looked like blood. Absolutely disgusting. Added one star because they at least didn’t ask for a tip. Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Good local place for coffee. However if you choose to order food, probably best to keep it simple. There were 4 people ahead of us in line to order at the counter, but it took us a full 20 minutes to finally get up to order. The girl taking orders seemed new so we totally understood, having worked in the service industry for years so we were patient. The food was pretty disappointing though. I ordered the omelet, and the eggs seemed like they had been prepped before hand, cooked long before we ordered. Half cooked, half chopped veggies just thrown in the middle. My onion was completely raw and not chopped at all. Hash browns were pretty much all white, no crisp at all. The breakfast sandwiches looked ok. But I guess an omelet was kinda pushing it.

We came in for brunch and as we were talking about the eggs...the servers silently walked in front of us and changed the menus on the TV to lunch... No eggs. Great. They gave us all of our food to go for some reason? The fries were good. The sandwich was very greasy. The patio is a really nice place to sit. I'm sure the breakfast and coffee on the porch is great but we missed it. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

We ate breakfast at the Bistro twice the during the week between Xmas and the new year. The first time the food was pretty good. The second time not so good. For instance, the toast was cold and the butter had just been taken out of the cooler. That combination is not good. You order at the counter and pick up at the counter, self serve. For the price level they should at least deliver the food to your table. When we visited Arnold, the Bistro was the only breakfast place open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so was the only choice those two days.
