Awesome southern style BBQ.. I love coming home and seeing pork on the menu again. The beef brisket is as good as many texas joints brisket.. The service was great and the prices reasonable. Quick to order. Food arrived at table pretty quick. I had pulled pork sandwich special which came with “gator tots” which are house made chips that are strung together. Really good. Sandwich was juicy, fresh and tasty. Love their hot sauce. Fried jalapeños were awesome. Wife had the brisket which she said was ok. I did mention that we were in Mississippi and not Texas. The restaurant is mostly clean. We did have trouble finding a clean table so I wiped one off myself. After that an employee came around and wiped all the tables. We probably arrived after the lunch rush. I’d def recommend Bishops but always stick with the pork Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Real good food. Brisket was tasty, sliced thin, plastic knife tender. Barbecue sauces were delicious, I actually mixed all three. Classic Sides made from scratch were refreshing Creamy mac & cheese, crisp corn on the cob w butter, chopped slaw, and a ranch potato salad all hit the spot. I would eat here again. I have to give 5 stars because this is about the best BBQ that you can get and the staff are very inviting. I always stop in when I'm in Tupelo. Never dissatisfied. Best barbecue ever! So yourself a favor and get the brisket sandwich with a side of fried mushrooms and macaroni and cheese! The best macaroni I’ve ever had. The brisket was so juicy and they had a variety of sauces for you to choose from (which they were all delicious) and the fried mushrooms we delicious with shredded parmesan on top. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My kids had the kids catfish and let me tell you what they didn’t finish, I did! Fresh, perfectly battered, and flat out yummy!
