We’ve been eating here for year’s. The last 2 times we’ve eaten here it has been horrible. The last time I got a chicken fried steak, the size of a burger patty. We ordered chicken fried steak dinner and a grilled chicken breast dinner and the green beans literally have so much pepper that I’m gonna post a pictures. My John says chicken is dry as could be and so is my steamed broccoli stay tuned for the pictures….. Im not a regular but it shouldnt have taken as long as it did for me to get a drink. Tables and chairs could use an update. We dont always get refills. Usually have to wait to get a to go box. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

My suggestion to the restaurant would be to put a huge sign at the end of the road letting visitors know they are there. I've been working here for 2 months and just found the restaurant. I wish I'd known about it from the beginning. Let me start with the service. The service was spot-on. Our waitress was not overbearing yet she was not elusive. She kept our glasses full and made sure that we were okay during the entire dinner. The food..... The steak was cooked to perfection exactly the way I wanted it. Do yourself a favor, if you decide to dine here, don't touch the steak sauce on the table. It would insult your steak greatly because the flavor is all inside. You do not need steak sauce to dip the steak in. You can thank Lance for that. Upon asking questions about the place since it was so good we learned that the cook is named Lance. Lance has the art of cooking a steak down to perfection..... I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The toppings for the baked potato they bring out are neatly put in a carousel so you can put the amount of toppings you want on your potato. The salad was great. The bread was good. One thing I absolutely love about this place is on each table she has a pair of reader glasses tucked away in a goblet. I've went to restaurants before and left my readers at home. This was something that really struck me as ingenious. To think about customers on that level means that your food will damn well be good. And it was. I can't wait to visit again. I hate to edit this review, but I try to be honest. After dining here a couple more times, I find that the steak is a little tough. Only reason it wasn't five stars is due to the bathroom. Needs upgraded toilet seats. They're stained and nasty looking. The kids wouldn't use them. Other than that it was great. A little pricey for the atmosphere but good food and service. I expect a place that charges most dishes over $15 to have cleaner bathrooms. We will return but hopefully can hold it until we leave.
