Was here last November 2023. Cozy place to have dinner. Service is friendly and was fairly quick. Food was generally good, but the steak I got was a little on the overcooked side. Vegetable choice for the steak was also not the best I think. We ordered two mains and was given a complementary potato skin apply. The potato skins were really good and would recommend to try. Had an amazing experience here. Tried the whale steak for the first time and it was far better than what I expected. It was smooth and well flavoured. And the veg and potatoes were just as good. Really enjoyed the ambiance and the good food here. Had the whale and it's definitely worth a try. Everyone else at the table was more than satisfied. Nice and cozy. A place where I highly recommend booking before going. I ordered a Tromso kir to drink and ordered the grilled salmon. The salmon was soft and zingy. Complementary bread with a selection of different types of butter was provided. The selection of butter were very flavourful, super creamy and soft. Amazing place with delicious typical Norwegian dishes. We ordered the reindeer steak, the Bacalao and the fish soup as a starter. Great portions cooked to perfection and the flavor was right on. Fir dessert we ordered the first milk pudding, cream brulee and the berries with ice cream. No regrets! All three were delicious. You will not regret visiting. If you are lucky you will get our waiter who was a super star. He's the one wearing the vest with all the flare and pins. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

My duck breast dinner was very delicious . It was served medium rare and the side dishes are great accompaniment. Service is good too. It is on the pricey side but based on what i got, it was value-for-money. Cozy and very detailed table service! Started with the shellfish soup that was incredibly tasty and very much needed after a whole day outdoors Meat tasted incredible as well the sides. Nice location for a beer in a shipping inspired atmosphere. Food was ok but not impressive. However, they do serve a nice variety of vegetables with the chicken (mushrooms below the chicken). Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

this is EXACTLY what i expected from a waterfront Northern Norwegian restaurant. the atmosphere on a Saturday night was a buzzing mix of ‘pre-opera’ and ‘après-ski’. the local lager was stunning (light with a hint of hops and spices), the starters were a decent size and perfectly executed, and the mains were absolutely delicious. i had a filet steak on one night and the sirloin on another, both times cooked to perfection. definitely a bit on the pricey side, but worth every krone 👍🏻👍🏻 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
