A disappointing experience. Let me preface this by stating that the personnel were all friendly and hardworking despite the staffing shortage—rock on! 💓
First, the matcha latte I ordered was very sludgy and not mixed well. Second, the smoothie was full of ice chunks and not blended well. Third, the sandwiches were mediocre at best. We sat at the only table available which was uncomfortable, kid-sized, and stood at the height of our knees. Overall, the poor quality & small portion sizes do not reflect the high menu prices.
When you leave somewhere wishing you had gone elsewhere & regretting the money you spent, it’s not a good sign. I dislike leaving poor reviews, but I am extremely disappointed with the experience.

Bequest is our new go-to for coffee and breakfast. The food and coffee are excellent and have a nice homemade, loving quality. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and quick. The atmosphere is welcoming and buzzing. Overall, it is a lovely place. I highly recommend it. 😀
