Traveling to Austin was on 190 west in merryville La about 3 miles from Texas boarder the only restaurant stopped for breakfast it was delicious definitely stopping on the way back home it was that good. The owner/cook was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Belle's Kitchen #2 in Merryville, LA is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The food is fresh, the portions are big, and the biscuit & gravy was homemade. It was fantastic. I'm not from the area, but if I'm passing through again I will be trying the cinnamon pecan pancakes.
