A true taste of home. We all (Philly) know that not everyone can make a good AUTHENTIC cheesesteak. I've lived in Delco for a little bit now and have been searching for a taste of home. I found it! I was happily surprised when I bit into this. Had to take half of it home. Life and kids put finishing it on the back burner (lower shelf in the fridge). Two days later, "discovered " it's hiding place - the roll was crazy soft even though it was cold. A quick reheat, and it was back to tastebud heaven. Enjoyed a suprise birthday party on the upper level of Barnaby's. The venue was perfect for about 60-100 people. People also sat around the bar. The lady bartender was excellent. Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I took my wife here for her birthday dinner. She got the honey Dijon chicken wrap which came out as dry as cat box clay. My meal was very much a disappointment as well. I ordered the NY strip which turned out to be tougher than Apollo Creed. I kept sawing at it, and sawing at it, and sawing at it and I finally gave up. I really enjoy steak so for me to “give up” on it and leave most of it on the plate is saying something. And before anyone asks, I ordered it medium so it wasn’t this tough because I ordered the shoeleather special. This thing should have been tender simple because of the cook. Can’t say much for the rest of the menu, but this certainly wasn’t a $23 entree. I had better steak with steak and eggs at a local diner. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Atmosphere was nice; gave me rustic barn vibes & The drinks came out quick, but the food didn’t. In fact we waited about 45 minutes before we left, because the food never arrived. There were tons of staff members (it wasn’t busy at all since it was Monday) around but seem like they were only focused on selling us drinks and they didn’t cared about us getting our food. We ended up going somewhere else because of how crazy the wait it was for the food as we saw other tables getting a full course meal and dessert sent to them (I wonder how long it took for their food to arrive) but we are still sitting around our drinks without our appetizer which never came out nor did my burger, which I didn’t think would take so long..I won’t return & it sucks because I heard tons of positive reviews about this place but I guess it is true that they only care about the drinks more than they do about food. We rented a private event space for our rehearsal dinner at Barnaby's, as our venue was just 1 mile down the road. This was the perfect location for us, as it felt like a good mix between "casual" and "special event." Staff were very accommodating and asked when we wanted appetizers, food, and desserts to come out. They started getting our party drinks right away. We had two servers assigned to our room and had ~25 guests in our event space, so at times it was slow to receive our drinks. I'm sure that's only because the Phillies were playing and the place was PACKED. Despite other events going on in the restaurant and it being a busy Thursday night, our party felt taken care of. The food was delicious, the drinks were strong, and it was the perfect place to keep hanging with our friends from out of town once the family left after dinner. Would recommend! While in the area, we just happened upon this place and we're glad we did. The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. The food came out quickly and HOT, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We live 45 minutes away, but we will be back.
