Oh ALICE, She and her husband own this restaurant and it shows the love. Young is the bartender and they yell your name when you enter. You feel amazing and as you notice, others do too. The person touch happens fast here and the food is fantastic. I have about everything on the menu but we have our go to items now. I have eaten here twice now when I have vacationed in the York area. Best Chinese food, fresh, hot, seasoned very well. Service is quick staff is friendly, restaurant very clean. Beautiful fish tanks. You can tell they take pride in their food with how they present it. I wish I lived closer. 10 out of 10 recommend! Wonderful food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. We usually get a bunch of appetizers to share but they also have really good Mongolian beef, coconut shrimp and orange chicken. Solid Chinese restaurant. Very clean, friendly and attentive service, very affordable with a nice variety of menu items. Place was empty when we got seated. The service was OK, the waitress was pleasant but she failed to check back with us after we got our menu, we had to waiver over to place our order, she didn’t bring water to the table had to ask, no sauce for the wings. She failed to check back again after receiving our check, no one had a clue when we tried to pay for our meal, she was busy making drinks at the bar. Food was spot on, tasted good and cooked well. Not too salty or over seasoned. We enjoyed the food, service not so much.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with pleasant attentive staff, and truly amazing food. I went for lunch, so there weren't many people at the time, but overhearing the folks who were also eating there this review will be of no surprise to anyone who has had the pleasure of eating at Bamboo Garden Restaurant. I recommend as I will definitely be going back in the future.

The restaurant is right in front of Microcell hotel and out of the main road. It’s hard to find but if you do find it won’t be a disappointment. Price is very reasonable. We ordered salt & pepper shrimp, general sau chicken, Mongolian beef, house special fried rice, wonton soup and hot & sour soup. The food was delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and flavorful. It was just right not too salty or sweet. Everything was balanced. I would highly recommend this place. Our first choice was Thai for You but the place only serve take out no dine it. I don’t know what the owner was thinking when most places one for dine in fully or at reduce capacity at owner discretion. TFY is not worth it. I finally found Bamboo Garden and will definitely come back.

This is a quiet, friendly little out of the way Chinese restaurant that seems to take a lot of care in its presentation and quality. All of our food was delicious, and I especially appreciated that you could order big plates of healthy vegetables which seemed quite fresh and is a nice balance to the many tasty fried things they have as well. Loved the carved veggie garnishes.
