An impressive site the dam and river. The river is nice and clear and the dam is huge. Like most points of interest if your in the area it is interesting to see other than that I would not go out of my way. Well maybe to fish if I could. 3btraveler

Stunning views. Toilets are clean but very expensive. So are the drinks in the cafe. A cup of Turkish coffee is 20 liras

The dam was huge in size. Today, it is 22nd of the largest world dams. In a simple restaurant situated there, you can sit and enjoy some beverages while watching the dam. There was also a monument cross to entrance with the names of people who lost their lives during building the dam. Try to stop and see the Euphrates on the way.

We popped up in a cafe with a view on the dam as a group, people who had coffee or/and ice cream said it was decent. The loo was 2.5 tl cash, so prepare the coin

This dam is the biggest among the other five dams built on the Euphrates river to generate electricity and also for irrigation. Wonderfully engineered.
