So glad this spot opened! I don't need to drive into Philly for my Jamaican fix anymore. And honestly, they're better than the spots I've been to in Philly. So thankful I don’t have to go to Philly anymore for good Jamaican food!!! When you open the door, the aroma pulls you in! The food is always well flavored and you get large portions!! I also love that her food isn’t too oily. Some Jamaican restaurants will have good food but use too much oil. For the review that said they filled the large compartment with sweet potatoes, looks like you ordered weird. You get 2 sides. Rice is a side! You have to order rice if you want it and it goes in the large compartment with your meat on top. If you don’t order rice, one of your sides will go in the large compartment with the meat on top. That’s how ALL or mostJamaican restaurants serve their platters!! If you’re familiar with Jamaican cuisine, you know to order rice as a side. Or, always pick something you’re ok with your meat being on top of. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent JA food! The service is professional and most pleasant, the menu is excellent, and the portions are plentiful. Intentional cooking with authentic spices, flavors, and love…a great stop. I ordered oxtail which was too tough to even cut with a knife, much less attempt to chew it! I will never order from this place or recommend them again. $35 gone, no lunch!
