The best THIRUNELVELI HALWA Shop. Small shop but unmatchable tasty halwa. It works daily from 5.00pm to 8.00pm only. You have to stand in queue to buy halwa here. And the queue starts at 4.00pm itself. If get late you may miss the halwa. You can buy packets of 0.5 kg each and in any number but you should buy it in one go. Just go and enjoy the halwa there. It's worth the wait.

Best halwa in the world😍👌 Tastes yummy and there is no board to mention the irutu kadai halwa.This is so popular in world only by people's ❤This halwa is purely original and it touches the soul.

To be honest I'm not sure what to rate this place. It was way too crowded and I literally had to fight my way to the counter only to be addressed very rudely by the cash collector but I guess all of that is to be expected here. The consolation to all of this is the Halwa itself. Definitely worth the claim to fame!

Dear friends, Myself order a 1kg halwa through the website link given above. I received a 1kg halwa after 4days.But the sellers addres was different I don't know weather I got the real one, what I received is untolerable sweety and ghee pured halwa .very difficult to eat just 10gm ,also I have doubt that they used buffallow milk ghee insted of cow milk ghee the aroma came out from halwa is buffallow milk ghee.

Shop with no name yet the length of queue speaks volume! Halwa tasted very good! Simple hack to beat the queue: There is a separate queue for ladies, so if you have one in your group, purchasing can be done within a minute.

Nice and Yummy... Its rich in ghee n sugar. so you cant eat for more than 3 o 4 spoon... You won't see any Name board for the shop, but still it will be eazy to find it (Because of the crowd). Shop opens from 5 PM. Large queue will be there. The street is buzy always so it will be difficult to get parking space near the shop. They serve 2kg per person. Happy eating... 😊

The name says it all. There are 1000s of Halwa shops at Thirunelveli and how to identify the original Irutu Kadai? The shop that's buzzing with people and is crowded always is the original Irutu Kadai. They close by 7.30 to 8 finishing everything sold out. Small shop and very difficult to identify since shop will have no name board or hoardings. Taste is divine and they don't have any other varieties in shop apart from Ghee Halwa. Just Ghee Halwa and thats there dish. Start a with half kg minimum and priced at Rs 200 got a kilo. You can get sample ghee Halwa a scoop for Rs 20. If it's Thirunelveli it should be Irutu Kada Halwa. Landmark is koilvasal stop.

Must visit place in Tirunelveli. Just loved it.. People wait in line for hours just to taste the authentic halwa! The shop has no name board, but can be easily identified.

Best place for Tirunelveli Halwa! It just melt in your mouth. You get in quarter/half KGs. Also for 10rs they wrap up a mouthful of Halwa in Banana leaf! It runs out pretty soon once they open the store. So be there on time!

Ancient shop. More than 100 yrs old. Same recipe of delicious halwa. Opens daily at 5pm. But be early there Cuz the que goes very long. Rs 220 per kg.
