I don’t know how Applebees stays in business! Walked in and sat down last night at the bar. The place stunk of trash. It wasn’t busy yet a lot of dirty dishes on bar top and employees sitting around on phones etc. half their taps were out and covered up. No One approached me for a very long time and i finally got up and left. There were only 3 other people sitting at the huge bar. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

1 is too high of a rating! SERVice!?!!!!! I have never been so outraged by such treatment wl; what are these young people being raised to act like? The waitress- i would like to ask this little girl's mother a few questions. The service was very poor to say the least -we got up and walked out, and reported the girl with a short black hair, chubby, nose ring, with her funky attitude to her manager (who did Apologize) however I cannot comment on the food or drinks or hefty tip that we might have left her because my boyfriend and I were so outraged at the treatment and the way she was speaking to us from the first word! Now will say that I've always had a good experience other Applebee's and this was just one waitresses miscalculation. And it's a one all the way around because they don't offer the option of zero THIS GIRL SHOULD WATCH HERSELF. IM NOT SAYING I WOULD ACT IMPROPERLY BC I AM NOT LIKE THAT, AND I'M NOT THREATENING THIS GIRL IN ANY SENSE, BUT I JUST WORRY ABOUT PEOPLE WHO ACT LIKE THIS IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY BECAUSE THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT ARE WILLING TO GO TO AN EXTREME EXTENT WHEN DISRESPECTED. Tell my why it takes 45 minutes to get a steak? Probably because employees are busy cooking their own food. Service here is ridiculous. Well, let me clear it up. The servers are nice, the atmosphere is bland, the food is decent, but maybe because after 45 minutes of waiting, you'll eat anything. Smh!!!! Our food was delicious and our waitress Jena was awesome. She kept my husbands tea full and told me the new quesadilla chicken salad is good and she didn't lie cuz it is delicious! Our food came out at a timely manner and we didn't have to wait long. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The service was friendly but lacking in speed. Our overall experience was at a slow time for the restaurant, therefore we need to add that. We were the fourth customers. I had a great rib eye steak and salad. I can't afford to come here very often, but when we do, it is worth it. My wife had 👶 baby back ribbs, so tender they just fell off the bone! Our server was very nice and I tipped accordingly! These people who work as servers 🙄 have a stressful and very 😫 tiring job. If you can afford ro be generous, shoe them you appreciate 💯 their hard work! Sometimes it is hard to leave a good 👍 tip, but if you can they so 🤷 appreciate it... After last night I had to amend my review. I was very disappointed. We haven't eaten here in some time, and after leaving there being that unhappy and spending that much money. Abby is a horrible waitress. Her attitude was enough to embarrassed her parents. The "queso" tasted like breathing out after you throw up through your nose. The food took 45 mins. Burgers were dry and burned but my daughter said her chicken fingers were good. We didn't eat much of our food, as the pics show. Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

Had a little wait for a table at 4:30 in the afternoon. Waitress was a little slow but great with the refills. Food was average. Kids were very disappointed that ranch is now 25 cents a cup, and chicken tenders where much smaller than the ones in Bessemer.
