We have eaten here about 6 times since moving to the area. I don't think I'm going back. We got the coldsnap beer a few weeks ago and it was soured. I told the waitress but drank them anyway. Tonight I didn't get the Coldsnap instead I got the Blue moon... and it was sour too. I don't know if it means the lines are bad or what but I'm not going to keep trying. Use to be our favorite place to eat on a regular basis, however, the last few times the food has been rough. Pasta was disgusting, tex-mex shrimp bowel had alot of solid lettuce chunks. It’s very obvious they love the microwave in the kitchen. Our spinach dip was microwaved as was the rice that came with my chicken. My husbands burger tasted exactly like something you would expect at McDonalds and was literally dripping with grease. Food and presentation was very subpar; and our waitress seemed like she could care less and had better things to do. The last time we ate here was a year ago and we thought we would give it another shot and it was a real miss. It’s a shame you go out to eat and the food isn’t much better than a fast food joint. This is my first time at an Applebee's. I RARELY eat at restaurants, but I had two gift cards. I ordered 8 oz. Top Sirloin steak with fries and garlic green beans. The meat was cooked as ordered, but unlike the photo of what my steak should have been, mine was oblong and less than a half inch thick. It did have okay flavor but was dry. I think our fries were cooked in a batch that sat a little while, as they were not firm. The green beans were tasty. Overall- excess saltiness. My husbands baby back ribs were also dry. Our server was friendly and efficient too. (Jessica). Our order did arrived in good time and of good temp too. I did NOT send my meat back due to not trusting that whole process.
