We expected big things...nope. Food was mediocre at best. We had black bean burger which made my wife sick all afternoon, and I had chicken schnitzel...which was the most boring and bland thing I have eaten all year. We arrived well before several other tables and then waited 15 minutes while the waiter took their orders before finally making it back to us. Just about walked out on that. Service seemed to focus on tables with more people rather than fewer...tip hunting? Was way below expectations and will not be returning or recommending. Be careful if you are eating here and not staying at the hotel. Parking (valet only) is $45 and the restaurant does not validate. So before you sit down dinner (or drinks) has already cost you $45 plus tip.

Really good service and atmosphere. We enjoyed our dinner experience overall. Some of the plates were impressive and others were not great. I find Park City chefs in general tend to interrupt rare as medium and medium-rare as well-done. Maybe that’s just been my experience. Unfortunately they absolutely destroyed a quality piece of beef. Would likely not visit again and definitely wouldn’t take my chances on a steak. Probably the most well-done steak I’ve had in years and definitely one of the least enjoyable. The quality of the food has been consistently great year after year, and the selection of both food and beverages is fantastic. If you're hoping to grab a drink at the bar, make sure to arrive early as it's first come, first serve. However, if you prefer table seating, reservations are a must. Our favorite at Apex is their chicken schnitzel, which has never disappointed. However, on this occasion, I decided to try something new and ordered the prosciutto cotto tartine. It was delicious! For dessert, I highly recommend the profiterole. It's humongous and has a rich chocolate flavor that is absolutely decadent. Overall, I highly recommend Apex Restaurant for lunch. The food is consistently great, the selection is impressive, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Don't miss out on the chance to try their amazing prosciutto cotto tartine and indulgent profiterole!
