Delightful breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant on the Black River. The atmosphere was very laid back and chill, menu was simple but offered enough choices that I looked over it 3 times prior to ordering my omelette. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in town. The waitress Asia was fantastic, she stayed on everything and was super polite, friendly and soft spoken with classic Southern draw. Great experience. I first ate at one of these in New Orleans and found out there was a branch in tuscaloosa and was stoked. I get the Floridian omelette that has crab meat and cheese and is delicious but there's so many options from seafood breakfast to French toast they have sweet and savory and my service there has always been great. Great food, location, and service. The -1 star is only due to the coffee. Their regular coffee is some of the - consistently - worst coffee I've ever experienced. Given that most folks will come here for breakfast/brunch, they are probably going to consider regular coffee as part of their meal. My advice: Don't get regular coffee here. I ordered the shrimp n grits, with a side of pancakes and two scrambled eggs. I had the strawberry mimosa to drink 8oz. It was great! You really only need one drink. The food was cooked to perfection. 10/10 I would recommend. You have to try the shrimp n grits! The costumer service was great. I will definitely go back to this restaurant. We had a fabulous time along the river walk. We had a late brunch at 1p. Food and service is top notch and plentiful. Thank you. We really felt lucky to find this location. We only waited 5 minutes and got a table outside by the beautiful river. My husband and I both had coffee with honey, and they had a variety of lactose free creamers to choose from. We ordered the chicken and waffle with honey chipotle on the side and syrup. The texture of the chicken was perfect and all of the spices blended together well.
