Ancora is my favorite place!! Especially the University location. They have amazing food. Their cinnamon rolls are second to none!! Graham is amazing! So pleasant and kind.

The egg Benedict is really amazing! They put caramellized onions and well-seasoned mushrooms with the egg. It’s very flavorful and special. The coffee is like average good coffee. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30

Ancora on university is the BEST!!!!!! Graham especially is awesome - my favorite part of the week is getting these delicious pastries to snack on at the office. They never disappoint! :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Picked this place by luck and I wasn’t disappointed. The coffee was good and the food was surprisingly delicious. They have plenty parking and an upstairs area with additional seating. The seating area downstairs is a bit small and can get congested. You order at the front and they give you a card for your table and the order is brought to you. We ordered the avocado toast and green wrap with vanilla lattes. All were pretty good! The service was also great. I would recommend! The food is alright. The atmosphere is alright. Definitely bigger than the old location they had. The upstairs is very tight. Not a lot of room to maneuver. We have been ordering the Chorizo Hash since the old location was around, but as the new one came about they seem to not cook the chorizo all the way through. It’s in big chunks… it was pink. chorizo is pork and should be broken down so it cooks all the way. Definitely didn’t expect to wait 25 min for it to be half cooked. Great breakfast sandwiches, soups, coffee, and grilled cheese! The staff are so friendly and kind. This is a great place to go on a coffee date or to get work done. A few menu items are kind of bland, but the items they get right are home runs imo. Their coconut cream cold brew needs to become a permanent addition to the menu! Update 11-2023 I love the new space! I have a large iced latte and a cheese and sausage in Biscuit. Biscuit sandwich was tasty. Very rich and a bit messy, but worth it. Ancora was on my list for a while and finally tried it today and loved it. Such a cute coffee shop with lovely interiors and decor. We went to University Ave location. I love that have both indoor and outdoor seating. You have to order your food and then seat yourself. The staff is friendly and attentive . Smiling staff always makes a difference and Ancora staff makes you feel welcome. The menu has nice options for breakfast and lunch. We ordered the Chorizo Hash ( veg sausage) , Eggs Benedict, Breakfast Burritos. Each of the breakfast items were delicious and well prepared. I love that they have option of veg sausage. Plenty of vegan options . The chai tea latte was perfect but I wish the latte art was on point. Hot chocolate was perfect as well. They have a nice selection of coffee and refreshing drinks. I love the feel of this Ancora Coffee location... So bright and warm and comfortable. The staff was great and the coffee was dark and strong! We didn't eat but the food around us smelled delicious! One thing I'd change is the coffee mugs... too dribbly from the think ceramic lip! Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10

Great breakfast food!! French toast with peach compote was excellent, kids breakfast was good- pancakes were great, they put chives in their eggs which I like as an adult but the four year old did not like at all- very good but peppery bacon, and coffee was good not great- but strong which I like!! Prices are good, a little pricey but I think it’s overall a nice breakfast/brunch option!! And it’s cute inside! They have a good amount of seating and not too loud.
