I have been here twice now and had a great experience each time. The atmosphere is very much what draws me in with all the greenery all around giving a great outdoor feel even during Chicago winters. For how open the space is they do a good job of making you feel close and private within your table. For the winter, even the outdoor space is transformed into to a warm cozy dining experience. The food is very good, the potions are small and they say are made to be served tapas (or mezze) style. This place is good for small groups and serve really good cocktails! This is always my go to! Was there for my birthday. From the moment you step into the elevator the fragrance is so inviting! Everything is always great! Our server Luce was amazing, attentive, has a great smile and personality! The drinks are all made with fresh juices which is a must in my opinion. The food is absolutely delicious. Fresh and so good. Love the atmosphere with all the natural light and music is top notch! Total vibe. You will absolutely be seeing us very soon! If you haven’t been you must. Wow I loved this place! My office had our holiday party here. They were super easy and accommodating to plan our party needs. We got to pick our menu and picked unlimited drink packages for our staff. The food was fresh and delicious. The chicken and lamb were very juicy. I had the Slinky link. Wow amazing. It was a frozen cocktail. They sat us at their chef table. So we had some privacy. I want to bring my husband back to try Aba. When you walk in you go to the elevator to the restaurant. We went there for my husband's birthday / dinner Date. He approves the Grab cake and the hummus plate. My roasted colliflower plate was very basic with rice, colliflower on a skewer with ranch on the side. Very comparable to a diner plate and nothing fancy or stood out. Service was great though! The food portions were generous and we definitely enjoyed the drinks. Especially the mule was fantastic! I ordered for a birthday dessert with a candle and they gave us a yogurt ice cream with strawberry syrup, sprinkles and candle - it was too tangy and we ate a bite for courtesy. It was definitely bad. Overall a great experience, will try something new next time. Whoa. Excellent service to start. The spreadables are where it's at. When I go back with friends, we'll probably just go through all of the hummus and spreads as a table. The crispy short rib hummus is the best followed closely by the muhammara. The large plates technically can be shared but isn't really designed that way. The steak frites didn't have as much steak as anticipated, but a lot of fries with generous amounts of za'atar seasoning. The chicken kebab was perfectly tender and juicy to where if you left it sitting on the plate for 5 minutes before eating, the residual heat would cause it to be overcooked. Great restaurant in West Loop! Mediterranean style with incredible choices of hummus dishes! We loved skirt steak and short ribs hummus plates. Falafels with avocado sauce were incredible! Was in Chicago for my birthday and this was my first and such an incredible Mediterranean experience. The cocktails were the correct combo of flavors. For appetizers - ordered the crispy short rib hummus and could not stop eating it. Unreal! Also, we got Muhammara and it was such a unique and delicious taste. For the main course - ordered shawarma-spiced skirt steak and eggs, lamb and beef kefta skewer, crispy potatoes, and the grilled cauliflower. Everything was so tasty and just melted in your mouth. I came in on a Wednesday night, not expecting for the place to be packed. To my surprise, we should've made reservations and we had to sit at the bar. The space did get a little cramped, but no big deal. I got the crispy short-rib hummus and it was delicious! a very solid dish, throughout. My date got the black garlic shrimp scampi and I wasn't really a fan (it tasted kind of sour?). otherwise, the 'sneaky link' drink was really good if you like slushees. the ambiance was amazing, the atmosphere was very romantic and dim.
