Enjoyed a nice afternoon @ "A Taste of Monterey"! Whether you come for the food & wine, or just wonderful wines...make it a definite visit. I'm sure they can be busy (so check on a reservation), but we were lucky enough to walk right in. Attached is a view from our seats. Touristy, nice atmosphere, service is good, food is good, a bit pricey as expected, didn't have the clam chowder, ordered seafood platter was pretty big and taste good too! Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I recently visited this place and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the service, specifically from the waitress, Alliayh. I felt that her behavior was totally disrespectful. I believe that respectful and courteous service is crucial in the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, this expectation was not met during my visit. I hope the management addresses this issue to maintain the reputation of the restaurant. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The waitress who is supposed to welcome you was very rude. She told us to get off the carpet right after entering the restaurant because we were at the edge of the carpet. We went to another restaurant with much better atmosphere after the rude interaction we had with her. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
