Place was outstanding!! Staff was nice and quick and we were immediately served. They were very attentive to all their guests and we definitely felt welcome esp with it being our first time. Def would be returning back!! Certainly me favorite spot in Madison!! Food was fine. We ordered barbecue and choose to cooked in kitchen. But at checkout found we were charged an extra two dollars for that, which is not on the menu or informed when we ordered. We asked for it but the cashier gave us an attitude, like we are the unreasonable ones. Will never come again, and PLEASE PUT THAT CHA RGE ON THE MENU!!! Love their food. Honestly taste wise I think it is the best Korean restaurant in town. They really need to keep working on their service though. I ate at the restaurant , fast service that day and yummy food as always and I got some carryout as well. When I got home and opened the rice. It was too dry and yellow and impossible to eat. It was too obvious but I have no idea why they decided to pack it and send it with me. Next time I should check the carry out rice as well. You cannot simply run your restaurant like that. A wonderful place to eat with friends! This is probably my new favorite spot to get dinner with the people in my life. An excellent place to eat. Wonderful staff. Amazing Waitress. 1000⭐️‘s!! ***EDIT TO ADDRESS POOR REVIEWS: -This is not Hibachi. This is Korean BBQ, not Japanese. This is cook-it-yourself food UNLESS you order normal meals from the menu. -You have to flag the waitress down if you need something or when you’re ready. This is typical for Korean BBQ. This is my first visit to this restaurant and I believe first visit to a Korean restaurant. So I know nothing about Korean food. Which is exactly what I told our server. She happily made suggestions and thoroughly explained menu items. She was working her butt off as well. Which may explain why the appetizer arrived after the entree. I think this might be a normal quirk. Patience and a positive attitude will help. We arrived hungry and had our food soon enough. We left full and happy. I've been driving by this restaurant So so curiously. We finally stopped in and didn't regret it. I ordered, in simple terms, C1( Bul Go Ki beef) 🤭 our server Justin was very knowledgeable, prompt, and friendly. Upon paying for our meal, Justin suggested the BBQ room. We're certainly coming back to do just that. The portions were generous and visually appealing. Certainly not "fine" dining. But, if you want to feel at ease this is the spot! I will likely be back because it is a unique food concept in the area, but I will admit it wasn't my best dining experience. The food was really good. My whole group enjoyed our selections. The service was fairly lacking; they seemed to only have 1 server for the whole dining room. The atmosphere is pretty "meh." They have some TVs playing K-pop music videos, and that is the majority of the atmosphere. I want this place to succeed, but there feels like there is some definite room for improvement. The food was great and the staff was friendly. The owners son drove up from Chicago to help because they were short staffed! Really enjoyed the seaweed rolls! Even if you don't think you like seaweed, you should try these! All of the other dishes were tasty. Service was timely and we will definitely go back!
