The restaurant decor is nice and staff are very friendly, but the food is horrendous I'm sorry to say. I was taken along a birthday outing, and I was completely fine with whatever worked for the birthday guy. But I think the food was bad. The caesar sauce was not recogniseable and the chicken was dry plus there was some things added to it that don't belong. The mushrooms sauce was pretty uninteresting and the chicken, I believe it was, was dry and tasteless. Carbonara my dad has was very strange. Has clearly never seen a real carbonate, let alone tasted it. You clearly don't come to Egon for the food. I know I never will again. Food is almost always a hit here, atmosphere in the Egon restaurants are always cosy. We sat outside on the balcony on faux fur skins under the canopy, very cosy, even when it rains. We had one set of spearribs and one entrecote. We both had custom wishes for our dinner, which was not fulfilled, so there was a miscommunication between the waiters and chefs. The food was tasty and steak was made well. The portions of the side dishes are smaller than they used to be and for a grown man or a hungry person I expect some to go hungry from the table, when not eating a starter and/or dessert. I asked for an espresso in a warm cup (as otherwise they give it in a cold cup). The cup was fairly warm, but the espresso itself was pretty cold! And it was really weak, comparable with a lungo or worse!

Fabulous outside patio, but too much snow and rain to enjoy right now. You go to the bar to order by number, but don't forget your table number! It was 640 Kronos for fish/chips, chicken bowl and large coke. The appetizer came very fast and the main meals were close behind. Their pizza looks good too! very nice place 👌, delicious food, clean place, easy ordering by scanning a barcode on the table 😋 they have food for everyone, food choice for all , meat lovers, vegetarian, vegan food.. all available. beautiful decoration. family can enjoy, romantic place too just small comments to make it better place. 1. if the vegan menu was larger and they provide vegan fries 🍟 will be perfect. 2. the sea food menu was a little bit empty. if they add mix seafood plates, shrimp 🍤. overall nice to go. will definitely tell a friend Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Nice and relaxing place. I was visiting a friend in Jessheim and we enjoyed going to this place. We loved their Chicken Fajitas. Friendly service.

I ordered pasta bolognese. First time i have tasted pasta bolognese that tasted and smelled like taco sauce. To quote the wifey "what is that smell?" "are you sure it is not pasta bolognese with taco flavour you ordered?". My wife ordered the fish soup...no...i mean onion soup....because it litterally tasted like onion soup with with 4 small cubes of fish, a couple of small shrimps in it with a lot of leek spread over it. close to Zero fish taste. We bought chicken with french fries to our 2 year old....chicken was ok and she liked it....the fries had zero salt or seasoning and were soggy. we have eaten many times at various Egon resturants. They are usually great but here we cannot give a good score. I am glad i did not order the lasagna because i fear they may have used the bolognese taco sauce in it as well as Béchamel sauce. Dear Egon Jessheim: Please taste your own food before serving. It is unforgivable to serve a pasta bolognese with taco sauce, and onion soup as fish soup. Food: 1 Service: 4

Pretty good service. You get exactly what you expect from an Egon. Food comes relatively fast, and is prepared the same way throughout the chain. I appreciate the large varied menu. There's something for everyone and it's very child friendly with children's menu and free colouring book.
