Update Feb 2024: Great coffees Obsidian (amazing!), Italian is good too. Great flavored: banana nut, pecan pie, cinnamon roll. Lovers lane is good (when in the mood). Sweater weater we didn't really care for. Though it is ok but lasting a long time at our house. We have had other flavors from here than above for my Feb 24 update but these are the standouts. Update: Late April 2023...Ive been back a few times. I've had at least 4-5 coffees from here and picked up two more bags and a sampler of another flavor. Their coffee is Great...give it a try! I'm sure it'll be a hit! I haven't tried the coffee yet but sounds good. The lady here was nice and helped with suggestions and what is popular. Price is about what Good coffee goes for in 2023 so...ya know....wish it was less but. The store area is small but has some gear and many coffee flavors. I didn't check out the tea though I believe they have some. Note, not opened on Mon I tried to swing by last Mon. That's on me though. Stop in and pickup a coffee to try. I will try to update my review with the two coffees I bought, after I try em. Service Take out Meal type Other Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Small storefront attached to a coffee bean roasting /processing facility. Industrial setting. Superb setup. Polite informative staff. Helpful with out being pushy. Lots of flavors. Whole roasted coffee beans infused with numerous flavors including vanilla, pineapple, cherry. Can’t wait to try several. Certainly they have the beans and a variety of coffee merchandise. Glass windows let one see from the store into the “factory” processing center. Pallets of beans from all over…Ecuador, Kenya, Ethiopia, Columbia and various other countries…plus Hawaii. Smells are free so go and enjoy
Today I’m going to Washington, D.C. yo visit friends. I’m making a point of altering my route so I can stop by Black Powder coffee in Moorseville. It’s that good. I have a fancy latte machine and drink really good coffee every day. And ever since I discovered Black Powder coffee, that is the really good coffee I drink. I love everything I’ve tried, and today I want to get some of the new summer blend coffee. My taste buds are excited!

Let me tell you a story. My first introduction to Black Powder Coffee came at OTPH in Cornelius back when they operated as Public Grounds in the A.M. I met a colleague there for coffee and without much thought, I ordered a typical cup of joe as I always do. As I grabbed a table, I proceed to engage in casual banter with my comrade. Somewhere in between our dialogue, I decided to take a sip of the wonderful nectar that is one of the most memorable hot liquid experiences I've had in a while. The world around me went silent, I lost all awareness of my surroundings and became one with the brew. I drink a lot of coffee and I like experiencing new things. What I had that day was one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had and that will always be burned in my memory. But here's the kicker, I foolishly did not take note of the exact roast I had that day and I've been on a journey to track down the culprit for that unexpected ecstasy. I have yet to zero in on it but it's been a blessing in disguise because is has led me to try so much more from these great roaster and everything is outstanding. Exaggerations aside, Black Powder is by far my favorite roaster. I really did take a moment to pause and consciously acknowledge that the first cup I've ever had was extremely good. I actually did look at my cup and thought "Wow, that's really good!". I've had the pleasure of trying some wonderful beverages from various corners of the world and there have been some excellent options out there but Black Powder really hit me like never before. Give these people a try whenever given the chance. They have plenty of roasts for just about anyone and I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Woweeee this is the best coffee I've ever tried, shop n save in Mooresville brews this brand daily and i fell in love with the "Kahlua & Creme" flavor. I've literally never had coffee soooo good! Bought a few bags of it yesterday from shop n save but didn't realize they were based right here in Mooresville! 🙂 Will be going straight to the source next time! Love to support local businesses! ❤️
Hands down, the BEST coffee! I started drinking their coffee when I lived in Mooresville. Now that I live in Texas, I still order their coffee. I've tried a lot of different high end coffees from all over, and although some are very close, Black Powder still beats them all! Highly highly recommend the Ethiopia Reserve and the Mexican Chiapas
