Played in my food, hair and brunt ribs. To add insult to injury I’ve contacted the restaurant after receiving this order a female manager told me there’s a new cook the new cook burnt everyone food that day since the restaurant opened. The manager asked me to contact door dash customer service support. The service was terrible, I swear the manager didn’t even care, she’s like okay sorry but just contact door dash. That was my first time ordering from Applebees in Pennsylvania and my last time ordering anything from them!!! They burnt riblets and put a nice obvious piece of blond hair combed the top layer of the brownie bite. I’m not sure if it’s a race thing because it’s February or if it’s just they DGAF but one thing I know to never eat from there. Even the ice tea looked off. If you order please don’t have an ethnic name like mines being Caribbean-American(Indo-Afro) is hard on its own. Don’t mess with anyone food we’re all humans have some decency however may karma come back to all who had a part in that food being made, and placed for delivery may you receive the worst possible outcome of karma don’t cry over it!!! Okay I don't usually do bad reviews unless it's Seriously bad. This is 2nd time I ordered delivery to hospital and I got the blonde desert and every time they forgot about the sauce, so all you end eating is dry brownie. Service Delivery Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 2

This was hands down one of the best Applebees I’ve been in. From the guy at the front, to the server and waitress, everyone was really polite and patient. Despite there being lots of people this weekend, there was only a 10m wait at the front, and the food didn’t take long at all! I feel like the workers don’t get enough recognition, so good job to them for handling things well! The resteraunt is very easy to find and no trouble finding parking. The food was exceptional good with lots of flavor. It was very clean inside and out. The staff were very tentive and nice. The deal for 2 for 25 was very reasonable, 1 appetizer and two entrees for 25 dollars. Overall, it was a great stop for lunch. Everyone loves Tim. He was like the bartender, Dad, Grandpa, and buddy to the numerous Penn State College young adults dining in. He was very pleasant and funny. He was also very nice but did not hesitate to let the patrons know the rules at the bar. He must have served at least 300 of those 1.00 Margaritas during my visit. Thank God that special is only gonna last a month. I am sure he is checking IDs and calling Margarita flavors in his sleep. I had the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp. The shrimp were blackened just right. It was hot and sizzling on arrival. Went in last night about 11. Ordered an appetizer and 2 meals. Appetizer was ok, overpriced for what it was. Stale tasting chips, chicken quesadilla that was barely warm, mozzarella sticks that were hard and wings. After sitting for a bit waiting for the main courses the waitress went to check on them but my husband wasn't feeling the best so I asked her to just have them pack it up to go. That was done in 2 minutes flat. Got it home and opened containers. Paid 23 bucks for a ribeye steak with potatoes and broccoli. I wouldn't call their steak marbled - I would call it fat infested. Applebees always get slander for their reputation so I was skeptical. However, I went and was surprised how good their burger and apps were. Some of the best burger I’ve had in a while. The spinach artichoke dip is really good too. The all you can eat boneless wings is okay. It’s pretty inconsistent and kinda taste like frozen boneless wings. The service there was amazing! The waitress was very speedy and kind, and she even let me make an unique request of having an orange slice in my water! The food came out at the right temperature and tasted delicious! My favorite dish was the tacos they were surprisingly delicious especially with the lime! Applebee's is my favorite casual dining place for American food, especially in Kuwait where I live. Their US location in State College did not disappoint. We went for an early dinner. Half the tables were empty but still there was a wait of around 20 minutes (could be due to covid issues). Anyway, we were in a hurry so chose to sit at the bar, where the super busy bartender was mixing the cocktails for the whole restaurant plus serving food to the customers seated at the bar. For starters, we ordered their double crunch bone-in chicken wings. They were really crunchy and tasty. For the main course, I went with a 12 oz t-bone steak. The steak was perfect. Tasty, juicy and done exactly as I requested. The steak went very well paired with a nice glass of wine. The prices are affordable and well worth for the quality you get. Highly recommended.
